	Poulsbo, a quaint Scandinavian community of over 6,500 people, awaits your visit. Poulsbo is known as Washington's "Little Norway".

	Poulsbo is situated along Liberty Bay between the Olympic Peninsula to the west and Seattle and Puget Sound to the east. Kitsap County boasts more waterfront property than any county in the United States. Poulsbo offers the best in sports and recreation with yacht club and nearby marinas (over 130 slips for visiting boaters), parks, hiking trails and campsites in and around the Olympic mountain ranges.

	In the heart of town, Front Street runs along the bay and offers a variety of shops dressed in Scandinavian motif. Antique shops, restaurants, gift shops, book stores and clothing boutiques keep visitors busy downtown. Liberty Bay Park is also located downtown and features a short walking trail along the water with picnic areas, gazebo and the city's marina..

Just off Front Street and Anderson Parkway, the city's Marine Science Center houses displays and touching tanks with marine-biology education tours.

A number of high quality golf courses surround Poulsbo including two of the finest public golf courses in Washington State.
